Taliesin West is a National Historic Landmark in the city of Scottsdale, Arizona. It was the winter home and studio of architect Frank Lloyd Wright from 1937 until his death in 1959, and is now the headquarters of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

The site was selected by Wright in 1937 after he had acquired the land that would become Taliesin West from the McDowell family. Wright and his wife, Olgivanna, had been living in Taliesin in Spring Green, Wisconsin since 1911, but Wright was increasingly drawn to the American Southwest for its climate and its landscape.

Taliesin West was constructed over a period of more than two years, with Wright and his apprentices living on site during the construction process. Wright designed the buildings and landscapes of Taliesin West to harmonize with the desert environment, and the result is a unique architectural experience.

Today, Taliesin West is open to the public for tours and special events. It is also the home of the Frank Lloyd Wright School of Architecture, which offers a Master of Architecture degree program.
